That’s why we’re starting The Medical Innovation Podcast. Our goal is simple: to create a space for anyone who, like us, is fascinated by how medicine and technology come together—whether you’re a fellow student, a healthcare professional, a tech enthusiast, or just curious about the future of healthcare. We’ll cover everything from the hurdles of building AI tools in medicine to the real-world impact of these innovations, with insights from our own experiences and conversations with inspiring innovators building in this space. Our inaugural guest is Caroline Zhang, CEO at Knowtex, where she and her team are building cutting-edge voice AI workflows to automate medical documentation and billing processes, ultimately freeing up clinicians to focus more on direct patient care. She shares her experiences building Knowtex, the challenges and triumphs of building a successful health tech startup, and advice for aspiring healthcare entrepreneurs.
